Chef Delvin Moore has been working in the food service industry for over 10 years, specializing in diverse catering services. His love for cooking began as a child, observing his parents prep meals for the family. He is a 2012 graduate of The Virginia Peninsula Foodbank, where he received perfect attendance and most improved awards for his dedication and hard work. He has been honing his skills and developing his passion ever since. Chef Del has worked as a line cook at Deja Vu and later served as Sous Chef at Pho 79 Vietnamese Bar and Grill. There he became highly proficient in the Vietnamese culture and in many other cuisines. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, Chef Del accepted the position as the Production Chef at Centerplate at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. There, he attained extensive knowledge about the catering industry, including experience in various roles as a chef and caterer for weddings, corporate events, and private parties. He has a deep understanding of food preparation, presentation, and service, and he always strives to create unique and delicious dishes that meet the needs and preferences of his clients. During the pandemic, Chef Del started Savor of Elegance LLC as CEO, and it has continued to flourish. With his extensive food preparation, presentation, and service knowledge, Chef Del is committed to delivering exceptional experiences to his customers. In addition to his culinary expertise, Chef Del is known for his exceptional communication skills and ability to work well under pressure. He has a proven track record of effectively delivering outstanding customer service. When he is not in the kitchen, Chef Del enjoys fitness and training for American Ninja Warrior, coaching youth sports, and giving back to the community.
